Description
From Charles Mingus’ 1976 performance in Japan, the July 30th Tokyo performance at Postal Savings Hall was recorded for 85 minutes with the first appearance master recorded on the soundboard. In addition, the master of the Osaka performance was released by the Couriers Of Jazz label, which wowed jazz fans around the world with its amazing recordings of the 70’s Japan performances by jazz giants such as Bill Evans, Art Pepper, and Zoot Sims. Parts 1 and 2 are borrowed with permission and recorded in ultra sound with 24-bit digital remastering. There are very few records from 1976, and you can enjoy the precious live performance in Tokyo and Osaka of this year, which was even better received than the first performance in Japan in 1971.
