Description
Previously released only incompletely, the 1964 Stuttgart, Germany, performance has received a stunning upgrade and is now available in a 2 hour 39 minute long, pitch-corrected remaster. Looking back, four tracks were released on “Unique Jazz” in 2000, eight on “Get Back/Jazz” in 2007, and then a rebroadcast that was considered the definitive edition by enthusiasts was released on “Mega Disc.” This was the Stuttgart performance that was thought to be the end of the story. However, a look at the setlist from the day revealed discrepancies in recording times and missing tracks. Now, with the help of overseas enthusiasts, the entire show is finally here for the first time. This is the definitive edition, recorded from the opening “ATFW USA” to the final “The Foolish Things” with pitch-corrected broadcast sound sources, which were not broadcast on the rebroadcast. While there are different broadcast sound sources and some tracks have slight differences in sound quality, there is currently no sound source that surpasses this title.
