Description
From the 1989 “City Streets” UK tour, the concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London on July 13th was recorded from the stereo soundboard source from the BBC on-air master. After a long hiatus in the 1980s, she released her first album in six years, “City Streets,” and made a comeback this year. She then performed promotional live shows for a short period of time, but these were only two performances here in London and Liverpool, England, making this a rare live recording. This was a special live performance because she is as popular in England as she is in her home country, so she performed many of her classic songs from the past, including numbers from the album, as well as the classic songs from “Tapestry,” and of course the end was a big hit with “The Locomotion.” Live at Royal Albert Hall, London, U.K 13th July 1989 : stereo soundboard recording 01.
