Description
In response to the better-than-expected reception of Walking Woman, the Collector’s CD of the Carla Bray Band has been released once again. This time, he teamed up with Michael Mantler and recorded a live performance in Berlin on November 4, 1979. It was two years ago when the official album “Cara Bley Live” was recorded. The sound quality is the best stereo sound board. Although it doesn’t have the same suspicious atmosphere as the aforementioned “The Walking Woman”, I can say that it has become easier for more people to enjoy. Carla’s talent shines more in composition, arrangement, and composition than in piano playing. Supported by a powerful ECM band, this is a great title that allows you to enjoy a variety of performances, from jazz-rock to pop songs. Recommended as an introduction to Carla Bray.
