This is a wonderful new item packed with rare audio and video footage of BUDDY HOLLY! It includes recordings from BUDDY HOLLY’s earliest existing recording sessions, studio outtakes from his CRICKETS and solo days (first-time recordings not included in the 4CD box released by VIGOTONE in 1995!), interviews, and more. It also includes the complete Ed Sullivan show from January 26, 1958, which was only partially available on DVD until now! (It even includes the performance of “Oh, Boy!” and commercials from that time). As you can see from the TC at the bottom of the screen (it’s small so you hardly notice it), it was taken from a station camera, so the picture and sound quality are official class! Also of the highest quality, there is a precious performance from his appearance as CRICKETS on Portland TV in 1957. This is a must-have item for any Beatles fan, as can be seen from the actions of Paul McCartney, who is such a passionate fan that he ended up buying up all the copyrights.
