From Mehldau’s two-day live performance at the traditional Umbria Jazz Festival held in Italy, the opening day performance was a duo with veteran jazz pianist Kenny Baron. This edition of this release includes the beautiful duo live performance recorded in stereo for the first time. The DVD that was sold in the past (currently out of print) was monaural, so this edition, where you can listen to the two pianos separated on the left and right sides, is a title that is highly worth purchasing.
