This is Brad Mehldau’s latest live recording. It’s a trio performance, but with different members from when they came to Japan, a trio familiar to many in Europe. It’s an audience recording, but the performance parts are beautifully recorded and have been further polished by remastering. Most of the between-songs parts have been cut out because the cheers of the audience were a bit distracting. Because of this, it’s difficult to feel Mehldau’s speech or the atmosphere at the venue, but you can enjoy it at a good tempo, like a well-organized official live album.
