Description

The performance of the benefit concert “For Bahamian Children” held in Nassau, Bahamas on December 15, 1979 was recorded with stereo soundboard sound source from radio on-air master. Since it is a broadcast sound source, the performance of the day is almost completely reproduced except for the last “Lively Up Yourself” fade-out. And the live performance showed seven songs including the soulful “Zimbabwe” from “Survival” released two months earlier, and the live performance with a stronger message was developed, as the unity of Pan-Africanism was declared in “Africa Unite” and the support song of Rhodesia, whose independence was delayed, was sung in this “Zimbabwe”. Of course, the representative numbers up to that point are also interwoven, making this a must-listen collector’s edition of the heyday of the “King of Reggae”. DISC 1 : 01. Introduction / 02.
