Whoa, this is crazy. Anyway, it is an audience album of unparalleled quality, but the recording is so special that it makes me want to describe it as “already a soundboard” rather than “just like a soundboard.” All of Dylan’s latest tours that he has released so far have been really high quality audience recordings, but the University Park performance that was recorded four days ago (!) and just appeared on the internet is definitely the best of them all. The wonders of being able to do it. First of all, the level of the surrounding audience is captured at a surprisingly low level, and just hearing the sound the band made just before the opening song “Things Have Changed” starts creates a sound image that makes you want to say “Come on!” . This is a tremendously on-sound image and the clearness is perfect. When it comes to the realism of Matt Chamberlain’s drumming, he has become a hot topic as a new member and is known for his ability to perform immediately. Still, it is clear from the high sound quality that he is in great condition on this day, below Dylan, and the engine is fully open from the opening. Immediately, a powerful performance of “Highway 61 Revisited” began. Supported by such a performance, there is no doubt that Dylan is quiet, and he sings “Can’t Wait” in a really lively tone. And when it comes to “Pay In Blood,” which is the first high point repertoire on stage every night, Dylan’s intensity reaches its peak. Dylan’s current momentum knows no bounds. On the current tour, “Early Roman Kings” is evolving day by day with the outstanding compatibility of Charlie Sexton and Bob Britt’s blues guitar. On this day, before the performance started, the two of them played a little blues interlude-like dialogue, but it was so cool that it gave me chills. What’s more, the guitar riff in “Thunder On The Mountain” is also full of hard power. Dylan, who had reached the height of his popularity with the previous “Pay In Blood,” will be able to hear wonderful songs even with a relaxed repertoire on this day. Among them, “Not Dark Yet” is captured with the best sound quality as he sings with a profound performance in the background, and you can’t help but fall in love with it. After all, the sound quality is excellent, so I think everyone from enthusiasts to beginners can enjoy listening to any part of the show. The repertoire of hard arrangements such as “Thunder On The Mountain” and “Gotta Serve Somebody” that concludes the main part are doubly powerful with this sound quality. The label continues to release high-quality sound items, including the highly popular “PALO ALTO,” but if you were asked, “First of all, choose one…” I would recommend this title without hesitation. Upon release, we applied equalization to improve the sound quality, raising the originally wonderful sound quality to the highest level! This is the highest sound quality of the tour at this time.
