Description
This is a recording of the performance in Columbus, Ohio on May 20, 1980, from the “Gospel” US tour from 1979 to the following year, recorded with a good audience quality for the time. Although it is not complete as several songs are missing, it is known for the set list that was controversial at the time because it did not perform any of the band’s past hits and instead focused on songs from the album “Slow Train Coming” released at the time. In addition, the works up to “Saved” were played with a gospel touch in the style of Duran, and each of the arrangements is so amazing that it is difficult to recognize the original song. The gospel performance by the chorus at the beginning is unique to this period, and this is a gem of high documentary value. DISC 1 : 01. This Train (Gospel Opening)/02. Gotta Serve Somebody/03.
