Description
A high-quality audience recording of the St. Louis early show on February 4, 1974. The sound source of this performance is valuable because the band’s set was not recorded, so there was no release of the entire sound source. Moreover, in the latter half of the tour, when the set seemed to have completely solidified, it was an ultra-rare live performance in which Dylan performed two songs, “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall” and “Desolation Row”. It is true that Dylan’s voice and singing style are very similar to the 1974 tour, and the fact that Dylan played on a whim during this live performance was an extremely valuable and interesting scene. And I guarantee that it is a sound source that is worth listening to just by playing these two songs in 1974, but the recording condition of the monaural audience recording is also quite good. In the past, the two featured acoustic songs were released on CD, but even compared to that, the accurate pitch and improved sound quality have made them much easier to listen to. And it is definitely a very valuable item in that you can listen to the entire sound source! Missouri Arena, St Louis, Missouri, USA 4th February 1974 (Afternoon Show) TRULY AMAZING SOUND (78:16) 1.
