This 2CD set contains a complete recording of the live performance on July 1st, the final day of the six-night consecutive performance at Earl’s Court in London, which was the highlight of the UK tour from the “Gospel Tour” immediately after the release of “Shot of Love” in 1981, from a good audience master at the time. First, from 1979 to 1981, Dylan’s interest in black music took concrete shape, and he infused his own style of hymns, deeply influenced by gospel, in the studio, releasing albums such as “Slow Train a Comin'” and “Save Do”. After the release of “Shot of Love”, he began a European tour on June 21st, and this tour was the most unique tour in history that Dylan undertook, strongly influenced by gospel. They added a choir-like black woman to the backing vocals, and created a bluesy guitar and black organ sound. The set mainly consisted of album numbers such as “Solid Rock” from the previous album “Save Do”, as well as “Slow Train a Comin'” and “Shot of Love”, but also included old hits. In particular, the hit songs that had been sealed for a while were fused and sublimated in the most beautiful way, and Dylan was in a good mood from start to finish, suddenly bursting out with “Here Comes the Sun”, and performing “We Just Disagree” saying, “I love Dave Mason.
