Description
Hungary on June 12th, the 6th performance from the European tour in the summer of 1991, recorded the Budapest performance with very high quality audience shot video. Recorded from the 4th song Gotta Serve Somebody. The next Shelter From The Storm is unrecorded, but from You’re A Big Girl Now, which was played next, it is recorded uncut until the middle of Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35. The second half of Rainy Day Women and the following Just Like A Woman to I Shall Be Released have not yet been released. The video suddenly restarts from the middle of Like A Rolling Stone, and records from here to Maggie’s Farm at the end of the concert. There are a total of 11 songs, 52 minutes, and about two-thirds of the show. When you hear it like this, some people may think, “Maybe it’s an incomplete recording, so I don’t need it,” but no, this is an extremely high-quality video. A shot centered on Dylan from a position quite close to the stage. It’s a great angle, mostly close-up of the face. There are many parts where the screen is blocked by the heads and arms of the audience in front, but overall the quality is very high, and this is truly a superb video work that even non-fans can’t help but watch. What is even more surprising is the perfect sound, which can be said to be at the sound board level. If the sound is this good, it doesn’t bother me much even if the image shakes a little. As mentioned above, the content is incomplete, but enthusiasts will be happy to include the cover song of the traditional number only for this day, When First Unto This Country. (Dylan MCs after the show, saying, “That was my foreign language song. It’s my only foreign language song.”) At the beginning of Rainy Day Women # 12 & 35, he sings, “It’s one of my first anti-drug songs.” MC will be asked. One Too Many Mornings has an acoustic jam in its head. Also included is Blowin’ In The Wind, which will not be played for a while from the US tour next month. The footage from this period is famous for the Offenbach performance on June 19th, but even though the number of songs recorded is short, this album is also a masterpiece title that is sure to become a standard in the future due to its high quality. Anyway, please watch and listen to this high quality video and sound. A shocking, decisive video work that will definitely surprise you. It is a live performance three performances before this new one, counting from the Studgart performance, so it is no exaggeration to say that it is a high-quality video title that you can see with your own eyes “STUTTGART 1991”.
