Description
From the so-called “Gospel” US tour after the release of “Saved” in 1980, the live performance at San Francisco’s Warfield Theater on November 15th is almost completely recorded with the soundboard sound source from the radio on-air master. First, from 1979 to 1981, Dylan’s interest in black music took concrete form, and even in the studio, Dylan’s style of anthems deeply influenced by gospel was imbued with “Slow”. He released albums such as “Train a Comin” and “Shot of Love” the following year. After releasing “Saved,” they began a tour of the United States, but at first they only performed songs from these works, which led to criticism and sluggish attendance. Considering the results, it was decided that the next year’s edition would continue with a selection of the best songs, including some of the early hits. Therefore, on the contrary, the set in which these album numbers are played abundantly is now valuable, and the soundboard sound source was hardly distributed, so it is worth checking out.
