Description
The masterpiece title “EAST/WEST” released in the summer of 2007 has been re-released for the first time in 10 years as a 4-disc set similar to the original. A set that combines two performances from the 1994 Japan tour, for which the complete title had not been released until the appearance of this work. The Nagoya performance and Urawa performance were recorded as bonuses in some titles in the past, but they have been released as a complete version for the first time using the original master provided by the recorder. What is noteworthy is the wonderful sound quality, and everyone will be surprised at the superb sound quality that cannot compete with all the titles of the 1994 Japan performance that were released in real time in 1994 (2015 The sound quality is so good that it’s more than enough to listen to it again now.) First of all, the Nagoya performance was held amidst great excitement, with the audience standing up from the opening, and it was a day where we could hear some of the most exciting performances of the first half of the tour. What’s more, on this day, there were many songs selected from the then recent work “Oh Mercy”, which gave a calm impression at first glance, but the performance was so intense that it dispelled such preconceptions. The Urawa performance was at the end of the tour, so it was an ideal day of intensity and stability, and the hard performance of “Everything Is Broken”, which was performed for the first time in Japan on that day, was talked about at the time. It was known to fans as an amazing performance. Both performances were recorded with high sound quality that is on par with today’s standards, and can be said to be a release that surpasses the items of the time in every sense. A must-listen.
