This rare recording features a complete stereo audience recording of a New York performance from their July 1979 US tour, just prior to the release of their fourth album, “Heartbeat of Love.” Following their breakthrough with the hit single “Heart of Glass,” this rare recording features a live performance at Delmont Park Racetrack, a thoroughbred racetrack in Elmont, New York, on July 8, 1979, just prior to the release of their fourth album, “Heartbeat of Love.” Directly digitally transferred from the second generation cassette master, it offers exceptional sound quality, considered top-notch for the time, with a wide, deep sound image. Enjoy the well-balanced vocals and every part, as well as the clear, crisp sound of an outdoor performance! While there are other recordings from this day that were made with a different taper than the master used on this album, the master used on this album is the best recording from this day due to the inferior sound quality of the mono recording. The setlist featured six tracks from their previous album, PARALLEL LINE, including the opening number “Dreaming,” a new song from their album “Koi no Heartbeat,” due for release in about three months, followed by “Slow Motion” from the same album and the single “Heart of Glass,” released in January of the same year.The tape was changed after “Man Overboard,” and all songs are included in their entirety, including the final track, a cover of T.
