Black Sabbath/Germany 1990

The 1990 Euro tour accompanying the release of “TYR” was recorded at St. Wendel, Germany on October 20th, and the CD was digitized directly from the audience master cassette that was recently unearthed, resulting in a nearly complete 101-minute recording. First of all, there are surprisingly few recordings from when Cozy was still in the band, and although there is some distribution from the previous year’s “HEADLESS CROSS TOUR,” there are extremely few tour recordings from after “TYR,” making this a rare album. And “The Law Maker,” “The Sabbath Stones,” and “Anno Mundi” are set numbers unique to this period, and although Tony Martin’s high notes have not grown as much as they did the previous year, here he delivers vocals that are close to his original style, and the band performs a united performance until the end.
