Description

The Ian Gillan era is the greatest gravitational singularity in the history of SABBATH. The superb and most important stereo soundboard album that reaches its apex is reprinted. There are two legendary soundboards included in this work. One is the demo tape of the great masterpiece “BORN AGAIN”, and the other is the superb live album of “November 4, 1983 Worcester performance”. Both are super representative sound sources that are said to be “first of all when it comes to Gillan SABBATH”, but now two great masterpieces that have been out of print for a long time. It is a two-disc set that luxuriously sets the highest peak version. Now, let’s introduce each one individually. [Disc 1: The highest quality version of the BORN AGAIN leaked demo] Disk 1 is a demo leaked from “Manor Studios” where the masterpiece “BORN AGAIN” was produced. It was unearthed about 15 years ago and caused the biggest sensation in the history of SABBATH bootlegs. After all, “BORN AGAIN” is SABBATH’s most unique work. Moreover, both Ian Gillan and Tony Iommi were not satisfied with the final mix and said, “It was changed without me realizing,” “It sounded better in the studio,” and “I want to let everyone hear the demo.” That sound has now come to reality. In addition, the unreleased song “The Fallen” also played a major role. It is now officially released as a bonus track on the Deluxe Edition, but the world first learned of it through the “Manor Tapes.” This work is the longest version of the “Manor Tapes” and has been polished with meticulous mastering. This is the highest version included in “THE MANOR TAPES: BORN AGAIN UNMIXED DEMOS” released in 2009, and the sound is overwhelming. Of course, the biggest point of this demo is the temporary mix and rawness that are different from the official version, and there is no point in making it too over the top. The mastering of this work is not so tasteless, but rather it highlights the “performance” that was absorbed into the cassette. In other words, it is an accurate reproduction of the sound that was heard in the studio. In fact, it is completely different from the muffled sound of the original cassette, and the crystal clear and transparent atmosphere is overwhelming. Moreover, it is completely different from the official take, which is luxuriously decorated with effects, as if the band is playing in front of you… no, in your head. It is a super real sound like a Gillan SABBATH studio live album. Moreover, the mix and some of the performances themselves are different from the official version. You can enjoy “BORN AGAIN” with a different expression from the official version, such as the guitar phrases from the first song “Hot Line”, “Keep It Warm” with Gillan’s shouts emphasized even more, the long “Stonehenge”, “Trashed” in the middle of adding vocals, “Zero The Hero” with different lyrics and melodies, “Born Again” which starts with the whole band from the intro, etc. [Disc 2: The longest and highest peak soundboard live of the Gillan era] Following such a shocking “Manners Tape” is the highest peak live album. This is the apex stereo soundboard recording of “Worcester performance on November 4, 1983”. This show was broadcast on WESTWOOD ONE’s famous program “CAPTURED LIVE!”, and is a classic among the classics that have produced countless air checks. This work is the highest peak version that has swept away such a group of already released. It is the highest peak that has been meticulously digitized from the unused broadcast master that was excavated at almost the same time as the “Manners Tape”, and has been polished after the same meticulous mastering as Disc 1. In fact, a new master recording has recently appeared on the Internet, but the quality of this work is far higher. The more lustrous and ironclad this work is, the more ridiculous it is to compare. It is proven even after the fact that the master used in this work was special. And not only the sound but also the content is the pinnacle of Gillan SABBATH. Speaking of the live performances of the Gillan era, the official deluxe edition also includes the Reading Festival soundboard, but this work is overwhelmingly longer than that. This is a good opportunity, so let’s check out the soundboard sound source left by Gillan SABBATH here. ・ August 27 Reading * Official Delaedi ・ September 28 Böblingen “EUROLINE” ・ September 30 Paris “EUROLINE” ・ November 4 Worcester [This work] There are four types. There are three types other than the official Reading Festival, and our shop has “EUROLINE” and this work. And the longest and best sounding of them all is this work. While it is a completely official sound, you can also enjoy “Supertzar”, “Children Of The Grave”, “Heaven And Hell” and guitar solos that you can’t hear on the official version. In addition, this work has updated the longest in history. The highest peak so far was our “CAPTURED ALIVE: DEFINITIVE EDITION”, but this work is of the same quality, and the DJ part at the end of the program is also recorded in full. In the previous release, it ended as soon as the live corner ended, but in this work, the end announcement of the program is recorded to the maximum. It is also a radio album that reproduces the rock scene of that time exactly at home. BLACK SABBATH in the Ian Gillan era… It was a rare miracle moment. The rock world is full of projects that collapse in an instant and the combination of big names, but they were “discomfortable” and at the same time “SABBATH-like”. The heaviest and most crazy BLACK SABBATH in the history of its ever-changing history. It was heavier than the successful Ronnie era and sharper madness than the Ozzy era. This work is a stereo soundboard album that depicts the Gillan era more vividly than the official one. It is the ultimate two-disc set that sets the highest peak version in history. This is the ultimate compilation that you will want to pass on to future generations along with the official deluxe edition. ‘Born Again’ Unmixed Demos recorded at the Manor Studio 1983(UPGRADE) Live at The Centrum, Worcester, MA, USA 4th November 1983(UPGRADE) Disc 1(49:36) THE MANOR TAPE DEMOS 1.
