As a special live performance to coincide with the release of their first album in 14 years, “HAPPINESS BASTARDS” in 2024, the “ALBUM RELEASE PARTY” hosted by Amazon Music in New York on March 15th was recorded in master quality and pro-shot video for 57 minutes. This is a two-part surprise live performance that can be said to be a prelude to the album promotion and the North American tour starting the following month. The first part is a release party-like debut of four songs from the new album, and at the end they also played Bowie’s “Moonage Daydream”, which was also included in “1972”. The second half of the second part was a best-hits set of representative songs from the first two albums, with earthy, killer R&R numbers.
