It is known to Beatles collectors, but unlike the original British stereo & MONO sound source currently on official CD, the original master edited by Capitol has many mix and editing differences and can only be heard here. It was released with an eerie “butcher cover” jacket design as a protest against the Capitol, which ignored the Beatles’ original album concept and continued to edit them apart, but it was quickly recalled and became a collector’s item.
