The Beatles (also known as the White Album) was the first album released by The Beatles’ own label APPLE, and was released as a 2-LP set. In November 1968, both stereo and mono versions were released in the UK as usual, but in the US, only stereo has been released since this album. In this AI-AUDIO COMPANION series, the contents of the 2-LP set are released in VOL.1 (Multi-track Remix and Remasters/Naked Vocal Tracks 2CD+2CD) and VOL.2 (Original Analog Masters/Backing Tracks Instrumental 2CD+2CD) to fully record each of the 4 versions. CD1&2 of VOL.2 (Original Analog Masters/Backing Tracks Instrumental 2CD+2CD), the sequel to the collection, contains the US analog master stereo mixes that are faithful to the originals as before. It completely reproduces the analog sound source from the record era, which is different from the 2009 unified remaster and the 50th anniversary remaster. The backing tracks instrumental album includes all the songs on the album as karaoke versions without vocals. Although some songs have been available as instrumentals, this is the first time that all the songs on the album have been released as instrumentals, which is a noteworthy sound source. The Beatles have completed this two-disc masterpiece during a period of transition in which their musicality has become more diverse than ever before, while at the same time each band is recording independently.
