Description
This is the ultimate original analog master sound source engraved on a record! Complete reproduction of four types of analog sound sources, high-resolution HQ, with the highest sound quality: British mono loud cut, German stereo remaster, US mobile stereo, and British HTM stereo remaster! The Beatles records from the 1960s were produced in various countries around the world, and were released in various forms different from the British original, from the mastering and cutting of each country to the jacket design, and even after that, in the analog era before digitalization by CD, there were many variations in re-releases around the world. Among them, the album version that is particularly attracting attention as the ultimate item that enthusiasts drool over is the best sound source compilation that is completely recorded in stereo/mono with outstanding freshness by direct transfer from each analog record master, and this “Premium Vinyl Collection” is a premium sound source collection with a CD containing the ultimate analog sound source and an audio DVD containing four sound sources including high-quality high-resolution sound sources. This collection is the masterpiece album “Rubber Soul” from the middle period, which showed signs of musical change. This album also has a wide variety of sound sources, and now collectors around the world are sharing and verifying information, which is drawing attention. The first half of this CD contains the “loud cut” mono sound source of the original British first pressing. This “loud cut” was initially distributed on December 3, 1965, and the matrix number on the disc is marked “-1”. It is literally engraved with dynamic sound pressure, and since the second pressing, the mix has been changed to a calmer cutting as it caused needle skipping on cheap record players at the time. When compared to the regular version, the difference varies depending on the song, but the sound is a powerful sound that jumps out to the front, and the vividness of the vocals, the guitar with a strong presence, the thick and tight bass, and the clear and powerful drums, all of which are unique to the “loud cut”, are directly recorded. Like the loud cut of “Please Please Me” Gold Parlophone and “With the Beatles”, which are attracting attention for their difference in sound, this is a superb sound unique to the original first pressing. The second half of the CD contains the HTM 1984 stereo remix sound source, a reissue of the British Silver Parlophone album released in 1984. This sound source, cut by Harry Moss, a famous engineer at Abbey Road Studios, is a remarkable stereo remaster sound source unique to the 1980s version, in which the sound itself is clearer and the mid-to-high range is brighter than the original British stereo mix, making the vocals and chorus easier to hear and the instruments are more separated. The DVD contains four sound sources, including high-quality high-resolution sound sources, in audio DVD format as the “High Resolution & HQ Audio Selection,” allowing you to compare the differences between the sound sources. Audio 1 contains the “loud cut” mono sound source of the original British first edition. You can listen to the sound of the analog record in a high-quality high-resolution format (96 khz/24 bit) that reproduces the texture of the record with higher specifications than CD. Audio 2 contains the stereo sound source of the 1981 German Odeon reissue. Unlike the original British stereo mixes of the 1960s, which were separated into left and right, this German version has a “narrow stereo mix” that is more centered on the left and right, making it a rare mix that can only be heard here. Audio 3 contains the stereo sound source from the Mobile Fidelity (MFSL) version released in the United States in 1982. Compared to the regular versions from various countries, this is a classic stereo mix source recorded from the popular Mobile version, which is considered to be the highest quality analog master as an audio reference with excellent clarity and balance, and is a high-quality limited record pressing of the stereo sound source from the original British master. Audio 4 contains the British HTM 1984 stereo remix sound source, which was reissued in 1984. This is also an HQ (high quality 48 khz) sound source with specifications higher than CD. The DVD video plays each record jacket and label photo in slide show format, and each sound source can be selected by audio selection. This special edition of Rubber Soul contains a compilation of the four most precious record sources, all of which are now extremely expensive and highly prized premium items!
