Description
This is a collection of recordings from appearances on “Radio Luxembourg” rather than on BBC. A program that records an interview “As German as Possible” that was conducted during the filming of the 1965 movie Help, which includes “BELL OF THE BELL” sung by George with only a guitar, and a program that broadcasts an interview with Paul who appeared in the promotion of the 1968 White Album. A unique program with John appearing alone to promote Abbey Road on September 27, 1969, when the band had already decided to break up (?), in which he comments on each song. Another program reports on the 1966 performance in Hamburg, Germany, and includes fragments of a live performance. The bonus tracks are also rare, and the “SOUNDS OF STARS” session that took place on the day the Butcher cover was filmed is an unreleased portion of an interview that was included in the gift flexi disc (ultra-rare record) of the newly released magazine “DISC AND MUSIC ECHO” by NEMS Enterprises. The flexi disc only had 1 minute 37 seconds of Beatles music at the beginning and end, but this one has over 21 minutes of it uncut. It’s a bit of a joke, as it was just a private project. Overall, it’s a pretty core album, but it’s a must-have for enthusiasts.
