Description

All are recorded directly from the original analog discs, and are not simple online sound sources. The main items are the two LPs recorded on Disc 1 that record the Philadelphia performance on September 2, 1964, both of which are from rare and difficult-to-obtain discs, but especially the first half of Disc 1, which is the highlight of this time. The recorded ALIVE AT LAST (WALRUS RECORDS) is much clearer than the tape sound sources that have been distributed on the Internet in recent years, has a wide range that is unrelated to compression processing, and is natural and pleasant to the ear, giving a sense of depth and space. It’s an analog sound. There is no first appearance of the live performance part, but the cheers and howling parts at the beginning and end of the live performance, as well as the MC part from the last MC on side A to the beginning of side B, are slightly longer than the CD title, which is considered to be the best of the previous releases. The first half of the main sound source is recorded, and all of the previously released titles are actually noise reduction based on the analog record, and are shortened by fade-in and fade-out to cut the trace noise part of the record. This is a guess based on comparison with the WALRUS edition, and the conclusion we came to when releasing this edition was that the tape sound source may not actually exist, and it is a must-see for core enthusiasts. This time, in order to faithfully reproduce the analog record, we did not perform any equalization or compressor processing other than pinpoint noise removal and volume adjustment. Please come and experience the sound that is faithful to the precious original. The second half of Disc 1, “In Concert at Whiskey Flat” (No Label), is considered to be the later TMOQ edition, and is considered to be one of the earliest Beatles collector’s items. The large numbers 1 and 2 printed on the label side are a typical TMOQ design. In terms of sound quality, it is not as good as the first half of the WALRUS edition, and there are some differences in the content from the first half of ALIVE AT LAST, such as the MC at the turning point of the disc being shorter, but it is a valuable early edition. I recorded it here. It may be a good idea to check the differences with ALIVE AT LAST by yourself. Disc 2 is essentially a bonus disc, and at the request of the familiar CONTRA BAND MUSIC, we have made CONTRA BAND MUSIC’s nostalgic LP into a disc! Although it is only for enthusiasts, it is included here as a bonus disc. Regarding this second disc, it is unlikely that these analog discs will ever be made into CDs.
