Description

This is the ultimate original analog master sound source engraved on a record! Four types of analog sound sources, UK stereo first pressing / UK original mono reel tape / US Capitol WALLY cut stereo / US Mobile MFSL stereo, are reproduced in high resolution HQ with the highest sound quality! This is the ultimate original analog master sound source engraved on a record! “Let It Be” is reproduced in four different sound sources from around the world! In the 1960s, The Beatles records were produced in various countries around the world and were released in various forms that differed from the original UK version, from the mastering and cutting of the sound source to the jacket design unique to each country. Even after that, in the analog era before digitalization with CDs, there were many variations in the re-releases around the world. Now that information is being shared and verified by collectors around the world, the album version is attracting particular attention as the ultimate item that enthusiasts covet, and this “Premium Vinyl Collection” is the ultimate compilation of sound sources, recorded in perfect stereo/mono with outstanding freshness by direct transfer from each analog record master. This premium sound source collection is a CD containing the ultimate analog sound source and an audio DVD containing four sound sources including high quality high resolution sound source. This collection is “Let It Be”, released as The Beatles’ last album in May 1970. It is the soundtrack of the movie of the same name, and was released after The Beatles had effectively broken up, and it won the first place in many album charts in the UK, the US and other countries around the world. The production of this album began in January 1969 as the “Get Back Sessions”, and while filming, which was changed from a TV show to a documentary film, including the legendary “Rooftop Concert” on the roof of the Apple, was also taking place in parallel, it was originally planned to be released as the album “Get Back”, and engineer Glyn Johns produced it, but it was shelved without being released. After that, the Beatles focused on recording their next album, and in September 1969 they quickly released the album “Abbey Road”. This was essentially the last album produced by the Beatles, but with the release of the movie “Let It Be” in May 1970, they asked Phil Spector to produce the album. The original “Get Back” was changed in the tracks, additional recordings were made, orchestral overdubs were added, and new editing was added, and the album “Let It Be” was finally completed and released at the same time as the movie, becoming the last Beatles album. The album “Let It Be” was released in the UK and Japan in a limited edition box with a full-color photo book, but in the US it was released in a gatefold jacket with a layout from the photo book. The first half of this CD contains the original UK stereo sound source. The texture unique to analog is recorded in a straight and natural sound that is different from the digital remaster. The second half of the CD contains the original mono sound source from the UK version of the open reel tape. Until now, stereo and mono have been released in the UK throughout the 1960s, but from the album “Abbey Road” only stereo was released. Although it was not released on record, it was also released in mono at the time on the UK version of the open reel tape. There was no mixing work for mono, and it is a sound source that was folded down from stereo to mono, so there is no difference in the mix, but it is a valuable item that was released only in the UK, and it is also rare that the track order is different from the record due to the recording time. The sound texture unique to analog tape, which is different from the record, is also noteworthy. The DVD is a “High Resolution & HQ Audio Selection” with four different sound sources, including a high-quality high-resolution sound source, recorded in audio DVD format, allowing you to compare the differences between the sound sources. Audio 1 contains the stereo sound source of the original British first pressing. You can listen to the sound of the analog record as it is in a high-quality high-resolution format (96 khz/24 bit) that reproduces the texture of the record with higher specs than CD, and you can listen to the sound of the analog record as it is. Audio 2 contains a valuable mono sound source from the British open reel tape, the same as the CD recording. Audio 3 contains the so-called “WALLY” cut version, which was reissued by Capitol in the United States in 1979. Although the American version of this album originally had a matrix with the BELL sound notation by Phil Spector, the sound quality of each reissue has not been good. Among these American versions, the 1979 reissue version cut by Capitol engineer Wally Trout has been highly praised as the best sound quality among the many American versions. The sound from this “WALLY” cut disc, which is becoming difficult to obtain now, is recorded directly, so you can compare the difference. Audio 4 contains the stereo sound source from the Mobile Fidelity (MFSL) disc released in the United States in 1982. It is a sound source recorded from the popular Mobile disc, which is highly regarded as the highest quality analog master and has a clear and well-balanced audio reference compared to the regular discs from various countries, and is a high-quality stereo sound source from the original British master pressed on a limited record. All except Audio 1, which is high-resolution, are recorded with HQ (high quality 48 khz) sound sources, which are higher than CD specifications. The DVD video plays each record jacket and label photo in slideshow format, and each sound source can be selected by audio selection. This is a special edition of “Let It Be” that reproduces all of the precious analog sound sources that have now become high-value treasure premium items.
