Beatles Bootleg Recordings 1964 Unreleased Collection Newly Revised Edition

A must-have for Beatles fans, “Archive Recordings 1964” is the second installment of this rare recording collection, following “1963.” This second installment features newly re-edited and upgraded 2-CD collection featuring studio recordings, BBC live performances, and demos, including some never-before-seen material. Following on from “Bootleg Recordings 1963,” which was released digitally and focused on previously unreleased public domain (PD) material, the 1964 edition of “Archive Recordings” follows the same concept as its predecessor, compiling previously unreleased 1964 PD material from the same studio recordings, BBC recordings, and demos. The album also features studio recordings and demos, including previously known session takes, as well as upgraded and unearthed recordings since 2013. The album also includes extended session takes of “Can’t Buy Me Love,” “She’s a Woman,” and “I Feel Fine.” Also included is Paul’s much-anticipated demo of “A World Without Love,” a newly reissued and revised version of “I’ll Follow the Sun,” and a newly discovered acetate of “Train Music,” rumored to have been performed by Jimmy Page on “A Hard Day’s Night.” The album also includes all of the 1964 BBC tracks not previously included on the two official releases, including high-quality upgrades and session outtakes, making this the latest version of the 1964 BBC recordings.
