Description
The 1 million yen record Gold Parlophone Stereo (GPS) is now available on CD for the first time! This GPS sound source has been remixed with a loud Flashy sound! The aim was to create a live recording at the Cavern. Also, the special performance at EMI House, which was broadcast by Breakfast with the Beatles the other day, is recorded in both MONO and STEREO. This is the first in the loud sound series presented by the GWW Laboratory attached to WHITE BOOKS. Whether you listen to it with headphones or speakers, you will be impressed by the amazing loud sound quality. Due to the significant evolution of remix technology in recent years, there has been a boom in remixes of Beatles sound sources using this technology. And since around last year, various wonderful remix titles have started to be released. In this context, we decided to release this loud sound series by the GWW Laboratory, and we compiled the sound sources so that everyone from young fans to deep fans can enjoy them, with the following orientation: First, we will focus on the original sound source before the remix, and then we will clearly set the goals and create a brilliant remix (= Flashy Remix). The first in the series is Please Please Me, which will be celebrating its 60th anniversary next year. The original sound source that we paid particular attention to is the famous Gold Parlophone Stereo (commonly known as Gold Parlophone Stereo). Yes, it is an expensive analog record that is said to cost the same as real pure gold (150g = 1 million yen). The freshness and loudness of the sound are highly rated, and it is an item that is envied by enthusiasts, with only 1,000 copies in existence. Moreover, this title was ripped by Dr. Ebbetts himself and ended up unreleased, making it an undeniably rare and high-quality gem. Furthermore, using this sound source, we have created a loud Flashy Remix, aiming to give the feeling that “the audience is enjoying the sweat-filled Beatles live performance in front of you at the Cavern Club.” We would be very happy if you could feel the realism while imagining the live performance of the four young people in a small cave. As a plus, we have recorded both mono and stereo of a special performance at EMI House, which was recently broadcast on Breakfast With The Beatles and has become a hot topic. This is a private special live performance held on April 5, 1963 to commemorate the sale of 250,000 copies of Please Please Me. It was said to have been broadcast only once on Radio Luxembourg at the time, but if that is true, it is a phantom recording that has been broadcast for the first time in 59 years. In addition to the original mono source, you can also enjoy it in stereo (after this special live performance, the Kin Palo Stereo was released on April 26). At the end, there is a secret track, although it is only a little bit. Please look forward to this too! Gold Parlophone Stereo (GPS) is pressed into CD for the first time. Also the GPS sound source is flashy remixed. This sounds incredible! Surprised how this compares to the newer others…. Also Contains the special performance at EMI House aired by Breakfast with the Beatles the other day in both MONO and flashy STEREO!
