This release captures the first show of their 2026 Japan tour, which aimed to recreate the setlist from their legendary “ASIA IN ASIA” concert, in high-quality audience footage, running for 1 hour and 25 minutes. The tour, a continuation of their previous year’s performances, consisted of 10 shows over 5 days (two shows per day), and this title documents the 7th show. Because it was a club-sized venue, even filmed from the left side of the rear balcony, the shots are remarkably close, with no obstructions and exceptionally clear audio. Now, 43 years after their legendary first visit in 1983, they return to Japan with the same flow and structure. This time, Harry Whitley’s vocals were particularly praised, showcasing an even more evolved voice reminiscent of John Wetton. Furthermore, this time, in keeping with the “ASIA IN ASIA” theme, they performed songs not seen the previous year, such as “Eye To Eye” and “The Smile Has Left Your Eyes.” Moreover, the biggest highlight is that, unlike the other shows in Japan which had a completely fixed setlist, this was the only one where they played “Daylight” instead of “Video Killed The Radio Star” as an encore. This made the setlist even closer to a faithful recreation of “ASIA IN ASIA,” making it a must-see, limited-edition memorial item for fans who know the original Asia of yesteryear.
