47 years after their legendary first visit to Japan, the live performance at Daikanyama UNIT in Tokyo on July 12th, the first day of the 2024 Japan Tour, was recorded almost completely in 89 minutes with a high-quality audience shot. The shot was taken from the back of the venue on the left side, and the viewer looked directly at the stage, passing far above the heads of the front audience, so there were no obstacles and the video and sound quality were super clear. And while the band was crowded with fans of the past, they released “ONCE UPON A TIME” the previous year, showing off their active status, and of course most of the set was from the five albums from the 70s and 80s, and the only original members were Frank DiMino and Punky Meadows, but as soon as “On The Rocks” began, led by the majestic SE, fans from that time were moved to tears.
