Description
This full recording of the May 3rd Alabama performance from the Allmans’ 1996 North American tour, which saw them reunite with new members, was recently unearthed through a leaked stereo soundboard master. This recording, taken from a master tape recorded by staff at the time for recording purposes and only recently made available online, is of such high quality that it could pass for an official bootleg. The band reunited in 1989 with original members Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and Butch Trucks, joined by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, and continues to scale up its sound even further, featuring a wealth of classic ’70s hits and blues covers.
