Description

“FLUSH THE FASHION” is the most controversial work by the emperor Alice Cooper, and is a hidden masterpiece that boasts cult popularity. Introducing the finest stereo soundboard album that symbolizes a unique era. “FLUSH THE FASHION” is a masterpiece that is too special. And, this work is a super masterpiece that can be called the live version. To explain what that means, let’s first go back in time a little. [Hidden great album: FLUSH THE FASHION] 1974 was the biggest turning point in Alice’s career. I disbanded THE ALICE COOPER GROUP, which I formed with an old friend, and became independent as a solo singer. However, it was not true independence. Her team-up with staff member Bob Desrin remains unchanged, and her songwriting partner Dick Wagner is an ally who has supported Alice as a shadow guitarist since the days of “SCHOOL’S OUT”. The other members were also solidified by Dezrin’s personal connections, and it was also an “evolving form of THE A.C. GROUP.” After that, while adding a variety of guests, the core of the show remained the same, and they continued to make great strides with masterpieces such as “WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE,” “GOES TO HELL,” and “LACE AND WHISKEY.” In 1978, a change occurred in the environment that could be called “the first solo period.” Around the same time Alice was admitted to the hospital for treatment for alcoholism, she broke up with her staff officer Ezrin, and also separated from her partner Wagner after the masterpiece “FROM THE INSIDE”. That’s how “FLUSH THE FASHION” was created. In other words, this was the album where Alice truly came into her own. Moreover, the content was intense. Appointing Roy Thomas Baker, who was also the producer of QUEEN, and Elton John’s ally Davey Johnston as songwriter/guitarist, they boldly introduced the new wave that was flourishing at the time. She has undergone a huge transformation and is said to be “Alice has become THE CARS!” Furthermore, the image has also been renewed. She still wears makeup, but instead of the traditional psychedelic or supernatural look, she uses rouge eyeshadow. As you can see from the artwork of this work, we have established a “new Alice” that can even be called stylish. “FLUSH THE FASHION” has received mixed reviews. Sluggish sales led to a dark era, but it wasn’t just a bad product either. The sound, which does not shy away from synth pop, is unlike any other work, and has been gradually reevaluated as time passes. In recent years, the song has been revived at live shows, including “Clones (We’re All),” and has become a highlight of tours. It is different from what happened after “SPECIAL FORCES”, which is still largely ignored. [The highest peak soundboard of the FLUSH THE FASHION era] The introduction is long, but this work tells us about the stage of the “FLUSH THE FASHION” era. This is a superb soundboard recording of “June 4, 1980 El Paso Performance”. This day was also the first day of the tour, and was broadcast on the famous radio program “SUPERGROUPS IN CONCERT”. That air check has produced many outstanding records and has been loved as the only sound board for “FLUSH THE FASHION TOUR”. This work is the highest-ever record of such a classic sound source. It is a soundboard album created from an unused broadcast master LP. The quality is exactly official level. It has an overwhelming sense of stability that is different from Air Check, and because it is an unused analog record, it does not deteriorate over time. Approximately 40 years have passed, and even if the master tape existed, it would be hard to hope for a sound like this… the ultimate sound. Many of the previous episodes were excerpts from the broadcast, but this work is the complete version of the broadcast (only the interviews that were caught in the middle of the show were cut). You can enjoy the precious “FLUSH THE FASHION TOUR” for about 90 minutes. And the show is also amazing. The most delicious thing of all is the “FLUSH THE FASHION” number. “Grim Facts” jumps out from the beginning, and after that, there are six songs in total, including “Pain,” “Talk Talk,” “Clones (We’re All),” “Nuclear Infected,” and “Dance Yourself To Death,” interspersed with famous songs from the 70s. ‘s big move. In particular, “Talk Talk,” “Nuclear Infected,” and “Dance Yourself To Death” are extremely rare songs only available on this tour. To be more specific, since this day is the first day of the tour, all of these new songs will be premiered worldwide. Along with the new songs, “Road Rats” is also noteworthy. Of course, it’s a number from “LACE AND WHISKEY,” but it’s actually a little different. They provided a remake version of the 1980 movie “ROADIE” and included a live set with it. Even on stage, the arrangement is based on the re-recorded version, and this is also an extremely rare song that can only be found on this tour. The rush of rare songs is extremely fresh, but the performance is also incredibly fresh. It’s a shame that Davey won’t be participating, but Fred Mandel is the key player. He has been participating since the 1977 tour, and was also the main writer along with Davey in “FLUSH THE FASHION”. Until now, he was a keyboardist, but on this tour he is playing the role of guitarist. Although he is not the type to get carried away with flashy solos, he is the only survivor from the Ezrin era, and his well-versed performance of both new songs and classics is wonderful. On the other hand, the remaining members are all new faces who are participating for the first time. The premiere featuring the three core members of “SPECIAL FORCES” and “ZIPPER CATCHES SKIN,” Duane Hitchings, Eric Scott, and Mike Pinera. This work is the live version of “FLUSH THE FASHION”, but it is also the origin of the band “SPECIAL FORCES”. Although it is not an explosive performance because it is only the first time, you can enjoy the best sound board of the ensemble that makes you understand that Alice wants to form a new band. [Delicious Bonus Tracks] This top-of-the-line soundboard alone is a must-have album, but this work also includes 6 delicious bonus tracks. All studio tracks not included in the album. The newly recorded version of “Road Rats” provided for the movie “ROADIE”, the outtake “Look At You Over There, Ripping The Sawdust From My Teddybear” from “SPECIAL FORCES”, and the single released exclusively in the UK “For Britain Only” ”. Furthermore, it includes “Identity Crisis” and “See Me In The Mirror”, which were provided for the movie “MONSTER DOG” in 1984 during the hiatus period. And finally, “Be Chrool To Your Scuel”, performed with TWSTED SISTER in 1985, on the eve of their revival. This song is a return to the classic number that is directly connected to “CONSTRICTOR”, and is a masterpiece that revives the brilliance of charisma for the first time in a while. Just as AEROSMITH came back to life after performing with Run-D.M.C., Alice also got back on her feet with the support of her juniors. The main El Paso performance was the entrance to the new wave period, but with these 6 bonus songs you can trace from there to the revival declaration of “CONSTRICTOR”. “FLUSH THE FASHION” could be called “IN THROUGH THE OUT DOOR” or “BORN AGAIN” for Alice. It’s a hidden masterpiece that enthusiasts can’t help but love, even if they think it’s not typical.
