Description

ALCATRAZZ is back with a modern-day neoclassic hero: Joe Stamp. The super-excellent multi-camera video is now available. This work was filmed at “March 22, 2019 Hoorn performance”. It is the best multi-camera audience. The performance in Japan was fresh in my memory, as if 1984 had come back to life, and they have announced that they will be returning to Japan at MICHAL SCHENKER FEST (hereinafter referred to as MSF) in the spring of 2020. Graham Bonnet continues to be a great success, making you think, “Is this the 80’s now?” First of all, let’s check the position of the show from his activity status. ●2019《February 8th: Joe Stamp joins & ALCATRAZZ renamed》 ・March 14th-24th: Europe #1 (8 performances) ←★Here★★April 15th-May 18th: North America (MSF : 23 performances) ・May 28th-31st: Japan #1 (4 performances) ・June 6th-8th: Australia (3 performances) ★July 11th + 12th: Europe #2 (MSF: 2 performances) ) [“REVELATION” released on September 20th]・September 19th-October 12th: Europe #3 (21 performances) ●January 15th, 2020: Appearance at METAL HALL OF FAME GALA ★March 10th- 13th: Japan #2 (MSF: 4 shows) *Note: “★” marks are MSF shows, “・” marks are ALCATRAZZ shows. This is the schedule for 2019/2020 that has been announced so far. Spinal surgery is scheduled after “Japan #2″ in March, and after that, it seems that nothing has been decided yet. We have reported on the revived ALCATRAZZ with many masterpieces, including performances in Japan, but this Hoorn performance is the earliest among them. It was the 6th gig of “Europe #1”, which was held immediately after Joe joined. The first report was “HOLLAND 2019”, but it was the show the next day. Although it appeared quite late, the reason is obvious at a glance. It’s an incredibly high-quality multi-camera edit. This is a master created by an overseas enthusiast, but it is super beautiful and super zoomed. I have also posted a screen capture, but it already looks like a professional shot. There are two angles: “looking down from the second floor seat on the left side of the stage” and “in front of Joe’s eyes”, but each is zoomed in furiously. It’s as if multiple cameras are being used to closely follow Graham, Joe, and Miss Beth Ami along the highlights. Moreover, each cut is of super high quality. The “looking down” angle clearly captures the entire stage view, while the zoom closes in close to Graham’s face, and the “in front of Joe” angle clearly captures not only the fingertips but also every single guitar string, making it a perfect professional shot. I think there were (probably) scenes where the screen would shake if it was this close, but it frequently switches to a “down-down” angle and there are no scenes where the screen shakes at all. Of course, the audio is also penetrated throughout the whole story with the best audience recording, and you can enjoy the full show with plenty of professional shot feeling. What is depicted with such transcendent quality is the glorious greatest hits that are thoroughly focused on “stylish beauty numbers”. Now, let’s organize the set and experience how luxurious it is. ●ALCATRAZZ (7 songs) Too Young To Die, Too Drunk To Live, Hiroshima Mon Amour, Jet To Jet, Kree Nakoorie, Starcarr Lane, General Hospital, Big Foot●RAINBOW (4 songs) Love’s No Friend, All Night Long, Since You Been Gone, Lost In Hollywood ●MSG (3 songs) Desert Song, Rock You To The Ground, Assault Attack ●IMPELLITTERI (2 songs) Stand In Line, Tonight I Fly ●Graham Solo (2 songs) Night Games, Long Island Tea ●BLACKTHORNE (1 song) We Won’t Be Forgotten…and it goes like this. Although they didn’t play all the songs from a specific album like they did in Japan, it was a rush full of famous songs that fans wanted. There are no contemporary numbers like “DISTURBING THE PEACE”, and even when playing BLACKTHORNE’s “We Won’t Be Forgotten” or the solo song “Long Island Tea”, the catchy and crisp melodies never feel out of place. What’s more, Joe’s neoclassic style shines through, and MSG and IMPELLITTERI incorporate Yngwei’s graceful oblis here and there. It is truly an “ALCATRAZZ show”. Graham, who stopped drinking after meeting Miss Beth Ami, sings in a way that makes you wonder, “Is this the high of my career?” and Joe Stamp plays classic songs of all time in a neo-classical style. This is a professional shot-class multi-camera video that allows you to witness the full show of ALCATRAZZ, which made a miraculous comeback in 2019, in the highest quality. The video work “DEFINITIVE TOKYO 2019 FINAL NIGHT: THE VIDEO” performed in Japan was also outstanding, but the multi-camera performance was overwhelming. Even if professional shots are not taken in the future, there will be this work… one of such levels. Live at Manifesto, Hoorn, Netherlands 22nd March 2019 AMAZING SHOT!!! 1.
