Description

The famous recording upgrade master, famous as “the three great sound boards of the Yngwie era”, has been newly excavated. It is a vertex sound that surpasses the official version. The “three great sound boards” are the Cleveland performance, which is familiar from the traditional Japanese performance official “LIVE GAMES”, and this work. It is a stereo sound board recording of the “October 31, 1983 Reseda performance”. This show has long been known for being broadcast on the famous program “CAPTURED LIVE!”, and is now a major staple that has become widely known from the official version “LIVE ’83”. This work is not a remaster reissue. It is a newly excavated highest peak update master. [The highest peak master in the history of pre-FM is newly excavated] The true identity of this work is a pre-FM master excavated by the prestigious “Krw_co”. It is not a conventional air check, but a permanent preservation of the sound before it is on the airwaves. However, there is one point here. Even though this work is pre-FM, it is not the original broadcast LP itself, but is digitized from the reel master copied from it. It is common knowledge in the 1970s vintage genre, but it cannot be said that the original is the best for old records. If it is a tape, it may become twisted or stuck due to aging, and even if it is an LP, it is not uncommon for the copy tape to preserve better sound depending on the quality of the record. Of course, if it has been dubbed for several generations, it is out of the question, but this work is the 1st generation that was reel copied at that time. Only God knows whether there are any intact master LPs left in this world, but there is no doubt that at least the best sound ever was digitized. Some people may think, “Wait a minute. It was made official with ‘LIVE ’83, right?”, but I would like to ignore that. It is not uncommon to make traditional soundboards official these days, but there are many poor quality products that are just copies of outdated bootlegs. Although “LIVE ’83” is not that bad, the sound pressure is higher than our conventional “IMPRISONMENT FOR LIVE” … level. It is not comparable to this upgrade. In fact, what flows out of this work is an unexperienced area. The fact that all the DJs that were cut in the conventional version are still there makes it clear, but the most important thing is the sound. Natural and extremely tight. The shaking and twisting felt in the conventional version (including the official version) have almost disappeared, and it is beautiful in every corner. And what is even more surprising is the density of the core. Since it is a sound board, the conventional version was zero distance and close contact, but after listening to this work, it even feels sparse. That’s how packed the core of this work is. Please do not misunderstand here. I am not talking about gaining sound pressure by remastering. In fact, there is no sharpness in the attack sound of this work and no elements that hurt the ears. It is not “strong pushing”, but “high density” because even the fine details are beautifully left. If we compare this feeling of upgrade to the world of official studio production, it is close to high-quality CDs such as Mobile Fidelity and Nimbus Supercut. How precisely can the sound recorded by the original master be reproduced and digitized down to the finest details? What flows out of this work is the sound that should be spoken of on such a horizon. The most historic show of the three major sound boards is depicted with such a superb sound. In order to explain its meaning, let’s take a look at the schedule at that time. 1983 September 1st + 12th: Los Angeles (2 shows) {October 15th “NO PAROLE FROM ROCK ‘N’ ROLL” released} October 31st: Los Angeles show ←★Here★ November 18th: San Francisco show December 21st: Huntington Beach show December 26th: Milwaukee show 1984 January 24th-29th: First visit to Japan (5 shows) ←※Official video February 19th-April 21st: North America #1 (11 shows) May 23rd-July 8th (?): North America #2 (19 shows) ←※LIVE GAMES {Yngwie leaves the band → Vai joins} July 13th: California show October 3rd-11th: Japan #2 (5 shows) [A historic soundboard that could be said to be the first step in the great guitar revolution] This is ALCATRAZZ in 1983/1984. In fact, Yngwie Malmsteen and Michael Schenker have not been verified worldwide, and the records from that time are poor. The above also combines multiple contradictory materials, so please do not believe the details such as the number of performances. In any case, no matter what materials you look at, this work is almost certain to be from just after the start, and it is the oldest of the three major sound boards (some say that this sound source is “March 29, 1984”, but the theory that it is the broadcast date is more likely). In other words, the whole world learned about Yngwie through this broadcast. Of course, “NO PAROLE FROM ROCK ‘N’ ROLL” had already been released, but only those who were interested bought it. On the other hand, this broadcast made ordinary rock fans say, “What is this!” and “Who is Yngwie!?” It is such a historic sound board. And the show content also proves the moment of its dawn. First of all, let’s compare the set with “LIVE IN JAPAN 1984 (Complete Edition)”, which is the longest of the three major sound boards. NO PAROLE FROM ROCK ‘N’ ROLL Too Young To Die, Too Drunk To Live / General Hospital (★) / Kree Nakoorie / Island In The Sun / Hiroshima Mon Amour / Suffer Me / Jet To Jet Others Evil Eye / Since You Been Gone / Desert Song *Note: The “★” mark is a song that cannot be heard in “LIVE IN JAPAN 1984 (Complete Edition)”. … and so on. The biggest point is “General Hospital”. As you may know if you have noticed this article, this song is not only not available on the other two sound boards, but also in the audience recordings. It is a super rare song only from the Reseda performance, and the fact that it has updated its highest peak means that this work is the best “General Hospital” ever. And the performance that spins the set is also intense and unparalleled. Graham, who was drunk and sloppy during his Japan tour, is in top form! His high notes are beautifully extended, and he sings powerfully yet beautifully. “Desert Song” is particularly strong. Graham fakes here, but it’s not a low fake because he can’t sing. He sings even higher and with a comfortable voice. Inspired by Graham, Yngwie is also blown away in this song. This album is full of gods, and the solo in this song has an incredible “soaring feeling.” Some fans declare that this is “the best of all of Yngwie’s records and solos” (although I can’t argue because I don’t have enough knowledge to agree). Yngwie Malmsteen, who is only 20 years old, has turned the very concept of “rock guitar playing” upside down. And Graham Bonnet, who is in top form and shows off a voice that is on a different level from his Japan tour. This is a historic event where the soundboard where both heroes shone most dazzlingly has been upgraded. Super-excellent stereo soundboard recording of the “October 31, 1983 Reseda performance”. This is a classic that has become widely known in the official “LIVE ’83”, but this work is an upgraded version by a newly excavated pre-FM master. All the DJs that were cut from the conventional version are still there, but the sound is even better than that. It is natural and extremely tight, and the shaking and twisting of the conventional version have been wiped out, and the density of the core has also been increased. This is a historic new masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the first step of the guitar revolution with the best sound in history, including the extremely rare “General Hospital” that only this recording remains and the super famous “Desert Song”.
