Description
This is an official stereo soundboard recording of the October 31st performance at the Country Club in California, from the US tour accompanying the album “No Parole From Rock ‘n’ Roll” featuring the young Yngwie Malmsteen, which shocked guitar fans around the world in 1983. As the only and definitive sound source that captured the stage at Alcatrazzo at this time in the highest sound quality, it has long been desired for a reissue, so the appearance of this album will be a delight for fans who have not heard it before. The super sound with excellent separation and perfect sound balance and spread allows you to fully enjoy the competition between Yngwie and Graham Bonnet. At that time, Yngwie played great songs such as Since You Been Gone and MSG’s Desert Song, and his sharp fast playing on each song was truly wonderful, and all of them are worth listening to. Graham’s vocals are stable and enjoyable, unlike the Japanese performances where the pitch fluctuation was noticeable. In addition, the second half of the disc includes six additional songs from the Nakano Sun Plaza performance on January 28th of the following year, including the Rainbow cover Lost In Hollywood, which were not included in the official “Live Sentence” album. All are recorded in ultra-high quality stereo line recording for a full 70 minutes. Live at the Country Club, Reseda, California, USA 31st October 1983 STEREO SBD 1.
