Description

Al Di Meola’s professional shot video collection is a permanent preservation record. First of all, the first half is a live performance by a six-piece group that took place in the late 70’s (judging from the set list and member composition, it was a rare live show around the time of the masterpiece “Casino”, so we guess it was around 1978). Recorded in high-quality professional shots, you can clearly see the inhuman guitar play that is repeated with the support of a very tight band. The acoustic part in the middle includes a rare scene that praises the excited audience. Anyway, the most popular live performance of Di Meola’s career at this time has been virtually non-existent as a video item, so it can be said that it is a long-awaited release for fans! The second half includes footage of the live performance held in 1993 under the name of World Sinfonia, which is also recorded in high-quality professional shots. A part of the live show from this period can be seen in the official “Live At Montreux”, but it can be said to be a very valuable video in that it reveals the whole picture. What’s even more noteworthy is that the audio has been completely digitally remastered to achieve excellent quality. In addition to this video, this is a 2-disc permanent preservation disc with a bonus CDR that digitally remasters the first half of the electric live performance. Professional specification with menu chapters, recording time is 122 minutes.
