Description
The Boston performance on March 20, 1973, which was released after the release of their second album “GET YOUR WINGS” and is said to be their oldest live recording, is now available as the first complete stereo soundboard album. First of all, two songs from this live performance were recorded on the official “LIVE! BOOTLEG”, and while they were all standard recordings that had been leaked many times before, the first complete version unearthed this time is the first complete album recorded from the opening song “MAKE IT”. And since it was a live performance in their hometown of Boston, the master recording of the stereo soundboard master from radio station WBCN was used, so until now the sound was mono or the performance of a different performance was recorded, which was unsatisfactory, but this time it is the first time that it is recorded from a reel master that is not an air check, so the quality is unmatched. Although the year was a support act for Purple and Uriah Heep and the like, and although the playing time was short, it was a time when they toured all over the US and developed their skills as a live band. Their furious performance of songs and covers from their first and second albums, which featured a unique, sticky groove, was rough but still sounds fresh today. 1. MAKE IT/2. ONE WAY STREET/3.
