While there are numerous soundboards known as “Complete LIVE! BOOTLEG,” this iconic masterpiece has been updated. This supreme album, once again challenging the ultimate sound, is here. The absolute masterpiece known as “Real LIVE! BOOTLEG,” this work permanently preserves the “March 28, 1978 Boston performance.” This is a stereo soundboard recording. The traditional “LIVE! BOOTLEG” album is a compilation of various live performances, but our shop has archived the original soundboard as the best master. This work reigns supreme among the collection’s finest masterpieces. This is a good opportunity to look back at the schedule from that time and take a look at the collection of masterpieces also known as “Real LIVE! BOOTLEG.” 1977 “ROCKS Tour” ・January 29th – February 9th: First visit to Japan (7 performances) “DRAW THE LINE Tour” ・June 21st – July 8th: North America #1 (11 performances) ← *Official 5 songs ・August 13th – 27th: Europe (7 performances) ・September 28th – December 27th: North America #2 (25 performances) 1978 ・January 7th: Jackson performance ・March 8th – April 8th: North America #3 (12 performances) ←★Here (Official 8 songs + α)★ ・May 1st – 26th: North America #4 (10 performances) ・June 27th – August 9th: North America #5 (21 performances) ←*Official 2 songs “LIVE! BOOTLEG” (although some 1973 takes are mixed in). “North America # 3” was the center of the tour that was particularly popular. Let’s focus on the dates further. Details of “North America #3” ・March 5th-18th (7 shows) * March 23rd “ARAGON BALLROOM 1978” (2 official songs) * March 24th “COLUMBUS ’78” (1 official song) * March 26th “PHILADELPHIA ’78” (1 official song) * March 28th: Boston performance (1 official song) ←★This work★ ・ March 29th: Boston performance ・ April 2nd: Detroit (2 official songs) ・ April 7th: Santa Monica performance * April 8th “DEFINITIVE SANTA MONICA 1978” (1 official song) Now, this work is the masterpiece of this “LIVE! BOOTLEG original” collection. The reason for this is, above all, the sound, which has reached the pinnacle of every conceivable point from origin to finish. First of all, the original source is a “broadcast master reel,” digitized by the prestigious “Krw_co” in the contemporary collector’s circle. It has now been mastered by our “GRAF ZEPPELIN Mastering.” A remastered version that takes into account modern audio environments. While avid collectors may recall “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1978,” this release is similar but not identical. While the above techniques are identical, this release has been remastered by “GRAF ZEPPELIN.” While the previous release, “Zodiac 528,” already achieved meticulous restoration, this release has been further optimized for modern audio environments. To put it simply, while the concept of the previous release was “restoring the original broadcast,” this release aims to “create the feel of a modern live CD.” However, since all audio flaws were addressed in the previous release, it’s not a completely different experience. To put it bluntly, you might feel that the sound pressure has increased, making it more powerful and giving it a more three-dimensional feel. However, this is not the same as simply increasing the sound pressure. The ensemble and recording conditions were meticulously checked, and the performance sound was meticulously processed to prevent even the slightest distortion. Each song, instrument, and section was meticulously adjusted to create a sense of uniformity. This ultimate sound, pursuing a sense of artistic expression, depicts the full show that has been loved as the “Complete Edition LIVE! BOOTLEG.” While you’re probably already familiar with it, let’s summarize it here. Draw the Line (6 songs), I Wanna Know Why (★), Sight For Sore Eyes, Kings And Queens (★), Get It Up (★), Draw the Line, Milk Cow Blues (★), and others (11 songs), Fly! Of course, this is also an absolute must-have for anyone experiencing this recording for the first time. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the Boston performance on March 28, 1978. This is the ultimate version, crafted by GRAF ZEPPELIN Mastering from the radio station master reel unearthed by the prestigious Krw_co. While the previous album, “Zodiac 528,” was completely natural, this one has been updated to be optimized for modern audio playback environments.
