Description
The superb sound board leaked by the people involved that shocked the whole world has been upgraded! In addition to the natural sound of the latest transfer, a new and definitive edition with bonus recordings of the first appearance sound source has been decided to be released! The “Santa Monica performance on April 8, 1978” is permanently preserved in this work. It is a stereo sound board recording. This show is also known as the day that was adopted for “LIVE! BOOTLEG”, but it was also a sound board that took a seat in that theory. In order to explain the circumstances around that, let’s first take a bird’s-eye view of the activity outline at that time and approach the position of this work. 1977 January 29-February 9: First visit to Japan (7 shows) “DRAW THE LINE Tour” June 21-July 9: North America #1 (12 shows) ←※ Official 5 songs August 13-27: Europe (7 shows) ←★ Bonus of this work ★ September 28-December 27: North America #2a (39 shows) 1978 January 7 + 10: North America #2b (2 shows) March 5-April 8: North America #3 (15 shows) ←★ Main of this work ★ May 3-26: North America #4 (12 shows) June 27-August 9: North America #5 (21 shows) ←※ TEXXAS JAM ’78 and others “LIVE! BOOTLEG Tour” September 27th-December 16th: North America #6 (44 performances) This is AEROSMITH in 1977/1978. The Santa Monica performance of this work was a part of “North America #3”, but this was also the time when most of “LIVE! BOOTLEG” was recorded. We have introduced many original sound boards, so let’s focus on the dates further while including that collection. Details of “North America # 3” March 5-15 (6 performances) * March 18 “CALIFORNIA JAM 2” * March 23 “ARAGON BALLROOM 1978” (2 official songs) * March 24 “COLUMBUS ’78” (1 official song) * March 26 “PHILADELPHIA ’78” (1 official song) * March 28 “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1978” (1 official song) March 29: Boston performance April 2: Detroit (2 official songs) April 7: Santa Monica performance April 8: Santa Monica (1 official song) ← ★ This work ★ A master of the leaked work of the people involved who cut into the back of the official masterpiece … In this way, this work was recorded on the final day when “North America # 3” was divided. And its appearance is a shock itself. In 2014, it was newly excavated through the same related route as the legendary demo album “ROCKS SESSION (Zodiac 570)”, and it was a superb soundboard whose existence was not even known until then. And here a mystery was born. “LIVE! BOOTLEG” should have adopted one song from the Santa Monica performance, “Chip Away the Stone”, but the performance is different from this work. The related cassette that was the source of this work has “Santa Monica 4/8/78” written on it, which is thought to have been handwritten at the concert site, so it is unlikely that a mistake would occur there. Although it is only a guess, it is likely that another performance was confused with Santa Monica while selecting and discarding a large number of takes during the production of “LIVE! BOOTLEG”. The highest peak updated sound that has been significantly improved by re-digitization In any case, this work is the highest peak update of such a legendary soundboard. This is not a remaster that has already been released, but a return to the only cassette in the world, and retransferred with cutting-edge equipment. It has been digitized with the highest accuracy possible in 2025. In fact, the power of retransfer is tremendous. Each sound is reproduced precisely down to the finest details, and the texture is completely different. The sound of the hi-hat, etc., has a sense of reality as if the instrument itself is vibrating in front of you, and the separation of the stereo that blows left and right is even more vivid. This sense of upgrade is not the standard of bootleg. At the time of its first appearance, it was praised as “official class!”, but this work has improved by about two levels, so to speak, to a level like a high-quality CD. In other words, like “Mobile Fidelity” and “Nimbus Supercut”, it is a sound of a dimension of how faithfully the sound left on the magnetic tape is digitized and how accurately it is transferred to CD media. The world’s first shocking sound source is also included as a bonus. The upgraded sound alone is enough to fill my heart, but the master itself is the same as before, so the incomplete recording of the show has not changed (although the improved accuracy allowed it to be digitized for about 20 seconds longer). Since the length of about 45 minutes is not enough to eat, this work includes two more delicious bonus sound boards and three additional songs. In fact, these were recorded on the same tape as the main Santa Monica recording. This time, the treasure tape has been completely reproduced. The first of the two sound sources is “Lick And A Promise” and “Chip Away The Stone” from the “1977 Frankfurt Performance”. Like the main part, it is a superb leaked stereo sound board recording. There is a mystery about this sound source, and there is no Frankfurt performance on the tour date of the 1970s known today. Therefore, the detailed date is unknown, but there is no doubt that it is a superb sound board. The second is an instrumental demo of “Lick And A Promise”. In fact, this take was also included in the aforementioned masterpiece “ROCKS SESSION”, but this is an upgraded version with even better sound. The superb sound board leaked by related parties that shocked in 2014. This is an upgraded version that maximizes its potential. The highest peak updated sound made possible by the transfer technology that has evolved over the past 10 years, and the bonus track that is being released for the first time in the world.
