A precious live performance by a trio formed by three of the most important female players in the jazz scene has been recorded with official standard sound quality from a broadcast source, making it a must-have for fans. This orthodox jazz trio consists of Jeri Allen, a talented pianist who unfortunately passed away in 2017, Esperanza Spalding, a bassist and vocalist who has won four Grammy Awards in the past and is a representative of the modern jazz scene, and Terri Lynn Carrington, a drummer whose skills have been recognized for participating in tours with such distinguished musicians as Shorter, Hancock, Stan Getz, and Sanborn for over 20 years. The opening song is Eric Dolphy’s song “Miss Ann,” and the second song is Weather Report’s signature song “Mysterious Traveler,” recorded in 1974. In addition, Miles’ songs are performed with wonderful arrangements while remaining faithful to the original, making it a great listening experience.
