Description
As a memorial item for the death of Malcolm Young in 2017, here is a compilation of pro-shot footage from the Bon Scott era from 1976 to 1980. First of all, it is a compilation of rare pro-shot live performances of 7 performances, 28 songs, and 2 hours and 20 minutes. Although some of the footage has already been made official in “FAMILY JEWELS” and “PLUG ME IN”, unlike the official ones that are divided into song units, each pro-shot live performance is recorded with the longest version master, and the details of each are as follows. (Sydney performance on December 12, 1976) First of all, there are two songs from the Sydney performance three months after the release of “Villains and Hell”, “Baby, Please Don’t Go” and “Problem Child”, both of which have not been made official yet. This is a valuable live performance from the Mark Evans era, where Angus has already stripped and is wearing only shorts. (April 30, 1978 Glasgow performance) Six songs from a performance in Glasgow, Scotland, one week before the release of “Powerage”. The bass was replaced by Cliff Williams, and this concert was the basis for “Guitar Murders”. Although all of the footage is on the official DVD, it is divided into individual songs, so the appeal here is that you can watch all the songs in one go. (September 6, 1978 “MIDNIGHT SPECIAL”) A US TV program that appeared four months after the release of “Powerage”. The live performance itself only featured one song, “Sin City”, but be sure to check out Ted Nugent and Steven Tyler introducing the band. (October 28, 1978 “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE”) From the UK TV program “ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE”, two weeks after the release of “Guitar Murders”. This is a famous live performance that represents the Bonn era. Four songs are separate, and although they were included in “FAMILY JEWELS” and “PLUG ME IN”, this is a 7-song version without cuts, including “Live Wire”, “Rocker”, and “Let There Be Rock”, which were not officially included. (July 13, 1979 “AC/DC COUNTDOWN”) From a Dutch TV program that appeared two weeks before the release of “Highway to Hell”. This is also a long version that includes “Bad Boy Boogie” and “Rocker”, which are not officially included, although three songs have been made official. (September 8, 1979 “ROCK POP IN CONCERT”) “Highway To Hell” from a German TV program that appeared when they were starting to become known worldwide after the release of “Highway to Hell”. (February 9, 1980 “APLAUSO”) The last is Bonn’s last professional shot live performance, which was performed 10 days before his death, and includes three songs from a Spanish TV program. Two of these songs have also been made official, but this is a long version recorded from the opening of the show. And the rare one is “Beating Around The Bush,” which is a mime but has not been included in “FAMILY JEWELS” or “PLUG ME IN.” 1. Baby, Please Don’t Go 2.
