Description

Formed by four studio musicians based in New York, their first album “24th Street Band” was released in 1979, followed by their second album “Manhattan Dream”, and on January 14, 1981. The live album “BO KU TA CHI”, which was picked up from the Tokyo performances on the 17th and 17th, was released and the band became known as a very popular band. The live performance released this time is a truly treasured item for fans, including the soundboard sound source of 5 songs that were not included in the album from the Tokyo performance to the January 17th performance. Furthermore, at the end, it even includes an unedited take of “Manhattan Dream” whose intro part is different from the official live. Hiram Bullock and Will Lee need no introduction to jazz and fusion fans, but keyboardist Clifford Carter has also appeared on albums by James Taylor, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel, Michael Franks, and others. Drummer Steve Jordan has collaborated with musicians from a wide range of genres, including recordings with Bob Dylan and Don Henley, the Rolling Stones’ “Dirty Work,” and Keith Richard’s solo album. Masu. The release of their unreleased material, which lasted only three years, is truly a great achievement, and at the same time, it is a rare masterpiece that fans cannot miss.
