This is a recording from the 1986 San Francisco Blues Festival. Santana appears as a guest in the second half. Albert’s fluffy smoky voice and his dynamic guitar playing, although with few phrases, are truly one of a kind. A must-listen for blues fans. The sound quality is a little thin, and although it is listed as audience, a sound check revealed that it may have been a soundboard. Buddy Guy and Junior Wells also performed at this festival, and it was released by the same label.
