Siouxsie and the Banshees/Germany 09.24.1988

This title allows you to enjoy a live performance held on September 24, 1988, in Hamburg City Park, Germany, shortly after the release of their ninth album, “PEEPSHOW.” Following the departure of guitarist John Valentine Carruzas, John Crane became the new guitarist, and Martin McCarrick, who also participated in the previous album “Through the Looking Glass,” joined on keyboards, making it a five-piece lineup. The setlist features nine new songs from “PEEPSHOW,” including the opening track “The Last Beat Of My Heart,” the lead single “Peek-A-Boo,” and the second single “The Killing Jar,” as well as a cover of Bob Dylan’s “This Wheel’s On Fire,” which was included on the previous album “Through the Looking Glass.” You can fully enjoy the clear sound right up to the encore finale, a cover of The Beatles’ “Dear Prudence,” which was released as a single in 1983.
