Boston/CA,USA 08.13.1997 Complete Multi-Cam Edition

This release features a full 2-hour and 36-minute recording of the August 13th Concord concert from the extensive North American tour held in conjunction with the release of their 1997 best-of album, “GREATEST HITS.” The footage is edited using two different audience video sources and multi-camera editing techniques. This title utilizes the latest equipment and editing technology to create a multi-camera setup based on two previously released video sources. The footage, shot from different angles, is smoothly switched and framed out, allowing viewers to enjoy the live performance with a professional feel. The audio is also perfectly balanced, maintaining a clear and easy-to-listen-to sound throughout. This album features tracks from their 90s album “Walk On,” new songs from that time included on their greatest hits album such as “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “Hey Baby,” “Higher Power,” and “Tell Me,” and of course, representative numbers from their three 70s and 80s albums. It truly represents the best of Boston at this point in time, and with Tom Scholz’s layered guitar harmonies and Brad Delp’s soaring vocals, it reaffirms what Boston is all about, making it a must-have item for longtime fans.
