This recording captures the May 13, 1970, performance at Madison Square Garden in New York—held during the band’s absolute peak—sourced from the master soundboard tape broadcast by the local FM station WNEW. Although there is some minor noise due to the tape’s age, the performance took place during a period when they were releasing signature albums back-to-back: *Willy and the Poor Boys* the previous year and *Cosmo’s Factory* in July of that same year. While the setlist is largely similar to the one found on *At the Royal Albert Hall* (recorded in the UK just prior to this), it features an opening track—”Don’t Look Now (It Ain’t You or Me)”—that was not included on that earlier release, followed by a parade of their greatest hits.
