A highly sought-after 6-disc set has been released featuring the Free Spirits, formed with the addition of Dennis Chambers and Joey Defrancesco, recording their three consecutive performances at the legendary Parisian jazz club “New Morning” on November 18th, 19th, and 20th from their 1994 European tour. The recordings were captured in astonishing sound quality from DAT digital masters. The same taper that recorded the previously released “New Morning 1992” also recorded this source, so there are absolutely no issues with the sound quality. McLaughlin’s improvisations are different and otherworldly each of the three days, which will be a major draw for fans. The setlist also includes cover songs such as “My Favorite Things” and “Sing Me Softly Of The Blues,” and on the final day, the 20th, they even performed the classic “After The Rain” as the headliner.
