This edition includes a full recording of the April 1st show at EX Theater Roppongi in Tokyo, one of three shows during their first visit to Japan in seven years in 2026, using multi-stereo IEM matrix audio, and also comes with a DVD featuring high-quality audience shots of the same day’s performance. First, the multi-IEM matrix specification mixes four different stereo IEM sources, each with a different mix balance, used by each member on stage, with a digital audience source, resulting in perfectly separated guitars in the left and right channels, drums with overwhelming stereo separation, and even the chorus parts are recorded with astonishing separation and resolution. Except for some reception noise due to the master, the entire performance is reproduced in hybrid sound with soundboard quality. Furthermore, the DVD footage, shot with a digital camera, is recorded from a 4K master, capturing the entire stage perfectly with virtually no obstructions, allowing for a well-balanced viewing experience of the entire band. The audio is synchronized with the CD’s multi-IEM matrix source, and the quality, including the sound, is vastly superior to the fragmented footage found on YouTube and other sites. The live performance, featuring four songs from their recent album “Among the Living,” also includes a large number of their signature thrash numbers, with some tracks like “Fight ‘Em ‘Til You Can’t” and “In the End” being performed only in Tokyo. This limited-edition memorial item perfectly recreates the first night of their sold-out Japan tour, including these special tracks.
