This release features a nearly complete recording of the February 14th Albuquerque concert from the North American tour following the release of the 1995 album “We Live Here.” The high-quality audience master has been digitally remastered in 2026, resulting in a nearly full 2-hour and 33-minute performance. The original master was already of excellent quality, but the remastering process has further refined the sound by cutting long gaps between songs and correcting areas that were unnaturally loud, resulting in a smoother overall listening experience. The seven-piece band’s opulent and magnificent sound world opens with the magical “Have You Heard,” and surprisingly, there are few songs from the album afterward, only this track and “And Then I Knew.” Also noteworthy is the vocal version of “This Is Not America,” a huge hit sung by David Bowie, which Metheny often performed in an instrumental version called “Chris” during his live shows—a must-listen for fans.
