Allman Brothers Band / IN, USA 07.15.1994 Complete Soundboard Edition

This release couples a recording of the Allman Brothers Band’s performance at the H.O.R.D.E. Festival in Noblesville, Indiana on July 15, 1994, during their US tour, after they had resumed activities with new members. The recording was sourced from a stereo soundboard master recently discovered through a leak by someone involved in the production. Like the live recordings from the previous year’s tour that were recently released online, this was directly recorded from a DAT master tape that the staff had recorded for archival purposes at the time. While incomplete sources have been circulating until now, this release provides a complete recording of the performance from that day. The original members, Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and Butch Trucks, were joined by Warren Haynes and Allen Woody, who had restarted the band in 1989, and they showcased an even more scaled-up performance, with a specially invited harpist, playing plenty of their representative numbers from the 70s.
