The clarity, especially the sharp, defined contours, is exceptional. Of course, the tapering technique is amazing, but it seems the environment also played a role. After all, the venue, “Hoffelt Park,” is an urban park built on the site of a large farm. The vast field has no roofs or walls to reflect sound, picking up the PA output with zero reverberation. Moreover, this concert was held at a famous venue where outdoor concerts are frequently held. There may be many engineers in the Netherlands who are familiar with this venue. Of course, outdoor venues have their weaknesses, and it is not uncommon for the sound to be carried away by the wind or for the bass to be weak. The deep bass, in particular, is so detailed that you can feel not only each individual note of the bass but also the vibration of the strings.
